Book blurb:
Sir Norman Foster (Manchester, 1945) studied architecture in the city of his birth and at Yale. He was the cofounder of Team 4, an enterprise that developed a number of innovative housing projects. The breakup of this group coincided with Foster’s years of cooperation with Buckminster Fuller and his entrance into the Architectural Association. Because of the work carried out by his office, Foster and Partners, he has received some of the most prestigious awards, among them the Pritzker Prize and the Gold Medal of the Royal Institute of British Architects. Among the most famous projects of recent years is the restructuring of the Berlin Reichstag.
